I normalfallet ska drivmedlet användas till stationära dieselmotorer men kan även omfatta lastbilar och arbetsfordon. Ramavtalet avser leverans till i dagsläget 20 orter i Sverige men kan komma att utökas. Denna upphandling avser ett framtida avtal som kommer att gälla såväl i fredstid som vid kristid, höjd beredskap och krig. MSB kommer att byta namn och från och med 2026-01-01 heta Myndigheten för civilt försvar.
