Stortinget har behov for å inngå rammeavtale med én leverandør for kjøp av renovasjonstjenester og øvrige beslektede tjenester som etter sin art og funksjon naturlig faller innenfor kontraktens formål og omfang.Formålet med anskaffelsen er å sikre stabil, effektiv og miljømessig forsvarlig håndtering av avfall fra Stortingets virksomhet. Anskaffelsen skal omfatte regelmessig innsamling, henting, transport, veiing, sortering og behandling av avfall, samt tilhørende tjenester som leie, drift og vedlikehold av komprimatorer og annet nødvendig utstyr, rådgivning, rapportering og oppfølging av avfallsdata.Videre skal leveransen bidra til at Stortinget når sine miljømål for 2025-2028, herunder å øke sorteringsgraden til 85 prosent og redusere avfallsmengden med 10 prosent innen utgangen av 2028 sammenlignet med 2019-nivå. Leverandøren som tildeles kontrakten skal bidra til kontinuerlig forbedring, god ressursutnyttelse og et pålitelig datagrunnlag for miljørapportering.
