Rubble Rescue Container The Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command is requesting tenders for jointly procured rubble rescue containers.
In addition to the Finnish Defence Forces, the procurement will include the following wellbeing services county procurement units (their rescue departments):
- Eastern Uusimaa wellbeing services county
- Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county (Central Uusimaa)
- Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county
- Pirkanmaa wellbeing services county
- North Savo wellbeing services county
- North Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county
- City of Helsinki
- Southwest Finland wellbeing services county
A total of thirteen (13) containers are planned to be procured:
- Five (5) units for the Finnish Defence Forces,
- A total of three (3) units to be procured with EU funding coordinated by the Eastern Uusimaa wellbeing services county, which includes: wellbeing services county of Western Uusimaa (one (1) container) and Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county (one (1) container), as well as one (1) container for the City of Helsinki.
- A total of five (5) joint operation areas to be procured under the coordination of the Ministry of the Interior. This includes:
One (1) container for North Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county, one (1) container for Pirkanmaa wellbeing services county, one (1) container for Southwest Finland wellbeing services county, one (1) container for North Savo Rescue Department, and one (1) container for the City of Helsinki.
Additionally, a total of seven (7) containers are reserved as an option: six (6) containers for the Finnish Defence Forces, one (1) container for Southwest Finland wellbeing services county), as well as equipment to be placed in the containers and features related to the containers' operation. All options are detailed in the section "Additional information concerning the procurement or part thereof".
The containers to be procured for the Finnish Defence Forces are green, and the other containers are red. The procurement of a container includes the container, its associated fixed equipment, and tools.
