Delivery Conditions: Delivered by hand. 7. Specifications: Electrodes for Long-Term Recording of Brain Activity (Microprobes for Life Science Microwire Brush Array, Reference Model: MBA-NC-12.5-64-XX-5-430-50-2R-2Ag-CONN2, XX is electrode length (mm), equivalent products not allowed) 22 units 1) Must be electrodes that can be implanted in the brains of non-human primates. 2) Must be capable of recording neural activity, including single neuron activity. 3) Must be a bundle of independent microwires with the sides covered and insulated, excluding both ends, and designed so that the tip expands when implanted, with the tip shaped like a brush. 4) The metal type of each microwire used shall be Nickel-chromium, and the diameter of the electrode site shall be 12.5 μm. 5) The total number of microwires per electrode shall be 64. 6) The length of the Microfil tube, which is the shaft of the electrode, shall be as follows to allow electrodes to be placed in the target brain region: • 6 pieces of 40 mm • 2 pieces of 45 mm • 1 piece of 60 mm • 7 pieces of 65 mm • 6 pieces of 70 mm 7) The outer diameter of the Microfil tube shall be 430 μm (26 gauge). 8) The length of the microwires extending beyond the Microfil tube towards the tip shall be 5 mm. 9) The MBA shaft and the connector shall be connected by a Flexible Cable (a flexible cable between the MBA shaft and connector). 10) The length of the flexible cable shall be 50 mm (1 combined up to 40 mm, then 10 mm branching to each connector). 11) The orientation of the flexible cable shall be 90° with respect to the main axis of the electrode (see diagram below). 12) The orientation of the connector relative to the flexible cable shall be aligned (Straight) (see diagram below). 13) More than one connector shall be used. 14) Each connector shall have its own independent ground and/or reference. 15) Each connector shall be freely hanging and separate, not glued. 16) The shape of the brush tip shall be Flat Cut. 17) The microwire tip shall be in its original state, not pre-splayed. 18) Include a Reference connection, with the tip of the same wire exposed (2mm). 19) Include an external Ground connection, with a 5cm silver wire extending from the connector. 20) The connector type shall be A72312-001 - Male Omnetics connector - 32 channel, 36-pin, 0.025” pitch, 4 guide posts, Nickel free, MRI compatible. 21) The recording and/or stimulation system shall be compatible with Open Ephys. 22) Pre-sterilization is not required. 23) The pin configuration, dimensions of each part of the electrode, and arrangement shall be as shown in the design drawing attached (drawing as clear as possible with all dimensions clearly labeled). 24) Special requirements: The epoxy resin at the end of the connector must be contained within the thickness of the connector body and not protrude (Please put the epoxy at the end of the connector no greater than the connector width itself – this is necessary to fit the connectors to our designed microdrive). 8. Inspection Conditions: The inspection shall be deemed passed upon confirmation of the specifications and quantity described in Section 7 by an official of this institution. 9. Warranty: If any defect occurs in the product within one year after delivery, not due to the user's responsibility, the supplier shall promptly replace or repair the item free of charge. 10. Promotion of Green Purchasing Act: (a) In this contract, if it is possible to adopt environmentally friendly goods (office supplies, OA equipment, etc.) applicable to the Green Purchasing Act (Act on Promoting the Procurement of Environmental Goods, etc. by the State and Other Entities), such goods shall be adopted. (b) The submitted documents (printed matter) specified in these specifications shall meet the standards for "paper products" stipulated in the basic policy of the Green Purchasing Act. 11.
