Purpose The National Institute for Quantum Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "QST") is promoting research and development of Li-based breeding blanket materials for prototype reactors, in addition to the development of various material analysis equipment, by enhancing the large-area thermal load test facility, the safety demonstration test equipment, and the technology development for performance testing under strong magnetic field conditions.
