11. General Specifications
1.1. Item Name: Purchase of Soft X-ray Signal Lines, etc.
1.2. Purpose and Outline: The National Research and Development Agency Quantum Science and Technology Research and Development Organization (hereinafter referred to as "QST") will procure measurement equipment for the plasma heating experiment operation of JT-60SA. This procurement is part of the procurement of ancillary equipment for the measurement system and involves the purchase of signal lines, etc. for soft X-ray measurement.
1.3. Purchase Item Specifications:
- Soft X-ray measurement will be performed from the upper vertical, horizontal, and downward oblique ports of P14 in JT-60SA. Signal lines, etc. will be laid from these ports to the P8 CAMECA vacuum chamber and data collection system. The signal and power cables for the soft X-ray measurement instruments inside the vacuum vessel are drawn out of the vacuum vessel through pipes within the ports from the cryostat flange. The connector for this cable is a Burndy 48-pin specification. We will purchase converters that convert this to BNC connectors, coaxial cables with BNC plugs at both ends for each port (36 cables per port), and shielded tubes to protect them.
