The Republic of Djibouti has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) to cover the cost of the Djibouti Resilient Agricultural Value Chains Development Project (FAR) and intends to apply part of this financing to make payments under the contract for the recruitment of a supervision firm for (i) the Supervision of Works for 13 Deep Boreholes; and (ii) the Supervision of Works for Solar Pumping Equipment, Storage Tanks, and Water Supply Networks (WSS) for the 13 boreholes.
The consulting services include the following activities:
- Phase 1 – Supervision of drilling works: continuous technical and E&S control of the 13 deep boreholes carried out by the drilling company, from site selection to technical acceptance;
- Phase 2 – Supervision of equipping and supply works: the consultant ensures the technical, environmental, and social supervision of the installation of solar pumping equipment, the construction of storage tanks, and the laying of water supply networks entrusted to the equipping company.
The MAEPE-RH Project Management Unit now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to express their interest in providing the Services.
