1. Context
As part of the priority program of the Government of Burundi aimed at developing human capital and improving youth employment outcomes, the Republic of Burundi, with the support of the World Bank, is implementing the Skills for Employability Project for Women and Youth (PACEJ).
Two educational projects are currently underway:
a. Skills for Employability Project for Women and Youth (PACEJ)
b. Human Capital Development Project (PDCH)
These two projects are implemented by a single Project Management Unit (PMU), under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research.
2. Purpose of the recruitment
As part of the implementation of the PACEJ Project, an International Individual Consultant is to be recruited for the design and implementation of the Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) system in Burundi.
