- The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire has received funds from the World Bank to finance the Food Value Chain Development Project (PDC2V) and intends to use part of these funds to pay for the services of an individual consultant for the following procurement;
- The PDC2V, through its component 2, plans to establish a Food Development Center (CDV) which will serve as a source or tool for accessing technologies and innovation, particularly for evaluating the agronomic performance of seeds, promoting smart irrigation and soil fertility restoration approaches, developing resilient production techniques, and serving as a learning and capacity building center for food sector actors to cope with the impacts of climate change.

- Individual Consultant Profile:
The individual consultant must meet the following profile:
- Hold a BAC+5 (Master's degree or equivalent) in Hydraulic Infrastructure and Networks or equivalent fields;
- Have at least 10 years of experience in managing or supervising agricultural projects;
- Have coordinated or supervised at least 08 projects involving the installation of irrigation systems in general, and 05 projects involving drip irrigation, over the last 10 years;
- Have participated in at least 03 projects involving the installation of agricultural greenhouses;
- Have participated in at least 02 projects involving the installation of greenhouses or irrigation systems in the sub-region;
- Have led at least 02 work assignments for the sizing and/or control of photovoltaic solar pumping systems; considering the solar power supply for pumping stations and boreholes,
- Have participated in at least 01 World Bank project including Environmental and Social Standards (ESS).
All consultant experiences must be justified by Certificates of Good Performance (CGE), Work Acceptance Reports, contracts, or equivalent documents.
- Duration of the consultant's service
The total contract duration is twelve (12) calendar months, starting from the date of notification of the service order. It is divided into two phases: Phase 1 — Supervision and control of works (six (06) months) and Phase 2 — Supervision of the warranty period (six (06) months).
