Description

The Town of Ste. Anne (the Town) is seeking proposals to provide collection and processing of recyclable materials (herein referred to as “recycling services”) from residential, commercial and light industrial properties within the Town of Ste. Anne, beginning January 1st, 2027. The term of the contract shall be a minimum of three (3) years, with an option to extend up to an additional two (2) years upon mutual agreement between the successful Bidder and the Town of Ste. Anne. The successful Bidder will work in partnership with the Town of Ste. Anne, its staff and Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba (MMSM).It is the intent of the Town to enter into a formal service agreement with the successful Bidder.The successful Bidder, who will, in an efficient and workman-like manner, undertake the primary collection and processing of recycling materials at the Town’s discretion, from all residential, commercial and light industrial properties within the Town municipal limits on a set weekly schedule. The Contract will commence on January 1st, 2027 and continue through to December 31, 2029. The provisions of the current Town of Ste. Anne Waste Management By-Law and Town policies and regulations surrounding recycling collection, and any amendments or alterations, and the Request for Proposal documents will form part of the Contract Agreement.Please find enclosed specifications and proposal documents. Sealed submissions clearly marked“RFP 03-2026 Recycling Collection and Processing Services”will be received by the undersigned at the address below until 12:00 PM on July 31st, 2026. Please include two paper copies and one PDF format on a USB flash drive of the fully completed proposal submission. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened.All prices are to include PST. GST is to be excluded from all prices. Submission documents that have not been filled out properly or in its entirety and do not meet all requirements set out in the proposal package will not be accepted.The Town retains the right to reject the lowest or any bid if it does not meet the needs of the Town of Ste.
