Agency: WHO | Reference: WPRO/2026-06/KIR/305511 | Type: Request for proposal WHO is seeking for a qualified, eligible and competent proposer for the  refurbishment of the Poland and Tabwakea 1  Clinics on Kiritimti Island, Kiribati to create safer, more climate‑resilient, and environmentally sustainable healthcare spaces for the people of Kiribati.Mandatory Experience:Proven experience in repair, renovation, or refurbishment of healthcare or public facilities.  Completion of comparable projects within the last 5 years with evidence of quality workmanship and timely delivery.Legally established company in Kiribati. Registered business operating in accordance with Kiribati laws and regulations. Possession of all valid licenses, permits, and tax compliance documents. A stable operational base or physical office within Kiribati.Key personnel should hold recognized qualifications in: Building construction, Civil engineering, Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or other relevant trades. Certification in workplace health and safety is an added advantage.Experience With UN/Donor-Funded Projects. Familiarity with procurement and reporting requirements of UN agencies or international donors. Experience working under donor compliance frameworks such as social and environmental safeguards (SES).
