Description

Agency: UN Secretariat | Reference: EOIUNFICYP24509 | Type: Request for EOI competitive solicitation exercise for the rental of skips for the collection of construction debris on an “as and when required” basis. 2. The Contractor shall deliver the skips as requested by the UNFICYP designated official. The Contractor shall collect the skips along with the construction debris gathered from the renovation/construction of sites. 3. The Contractor shall be able to deliver up to a minimum of four (4) skips per day, of a volume not less than six (6) cubic meters on an "as and when required” basis. 4. The following are the principal sites of delivery of the skips: a) UNFICYP HQ, UNPA, Old Nicosia International Airport. b) Ledra Palace Hotel, Nicosia, Sector 2. c) San Martin Camp, Skouriotissa Area, Sector 1. 5. The resulting contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. 6. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested in participating in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above. Women-owned and disability-inclusive suppliers are strongly encouraged to express interest. 7. In case you have difficulties submitting your interest electronically, please contact Mr. Panayiotis Savva via email to unficyp-procurement@un.org no later than Friday, 17 July 2026. The Vendor Response Form is also available on our website www.unficyp.org. 8. UNFICYP reserves the right to select the invitees for the competitive bidding, and merely expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. Please note that Vendors have to be registered at the Basic Level at the time of the award. 9. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested vendors are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Basic Level registration.
