Description
BWT-1576-UPS (R): The work under this contract is to provide all necessary labor, parts, materials and equipment for the service & repair of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems at various Wastewater Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRF) and auxiliary DEP facilities. These UPSs provide temporary power to various critical equipment such as control system, switchgear, emergency lighting, fire alarm system etc. upon the loss of utility power. These UPSs are critical to the operation of the facility in case of a power failure from the utility company. Failure of these systems will interfere with plant operations, leading to possible permit violations and substantial fines to the DEP.
