TENDER DESCRIPTION: This ITB aims to contract a company specialized in fire-fighting systems for the execution of the project called: “Replacement of the fire-fighting system of generators and transformers in the Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (SAM) and Restitución (RON) Hydroelectric Power Plants”, in accordance with the requirements, specifications, and other conditions established in the Tender Documents. CLARIFICATION MEETING: UNOPS will hold a clarification meeting for potential bidders to familiarize themselves with the project scope, understand the main administrative aspects of the tender process, and receive guidance on using the UNOPS eSourcing platform for submitting bids. ON-SITE TECHNICAL VISIT: UNOPS will conduct an on-site technical visit to the project facilities so that potential bidders can familiarize themselves with the site conditions and obtain complementary information for preparing their bids. Location: The meeting will be held at Campo Armiño Substation (SECA) located within the CPM facilities (Mantaro Production Center, also known as Mantaro Hydroelectric Complex), Colcabamba district, Tayacaja province, Huancavelica department, 100 km from the city of Huancayo. QUERY AND CLARIFICATION PROCESS: Bidders must submit their queries exclusively through the UNOPS eSourcing system, by accessing the “Announcement Information” section and then the “Request Clarification” tab on the eSourcing platform. Each query must be entered and submitted individually through the system. Queries sent by other means or those incorporated via external links or other mechanisms different from those provided in eSourcing will not be accepted. UNOPS will respond to received queries by issuing clarification notes and/or amendments, which will be published in the “Documents” tab within the “Announcement Information” section of the eSourcing platform and will form an integral part of the Tender Documents. All clarification requests must be submitted before the "Deadline for clarifications" indicated in the “General Information” tab contained in the “Announcement Information” section of the eSourcing platform. UNOPS will assume that the bidder has carefully examined all Tender Documents available on the eSourcing platform to determine their ability to comply with the technical, commercial, and contractual conditions established. Likewise, it will be assumed that the bidder has critically reviewed these documents to identify any ambiguity, omission, contradiction, unclear provision, or aspect requiring clarification, in order to submit the corresponding queries in a timely manner.
