Completion Planning and Construction of a Gigabit Network (FTTB) for the City of Krautheim

Expansion of the existing municipal fiber optic infrastructure with a continuous and functional fiber optic network for all residential and commercial buildings to be connected in the designated expansion areas.

The aim of this tender is to commission qualified companies (hereinafter referred to as contractors) with the described expansion. The expansion and the coordination services to be provided by the contractor shall be carried out in close cooperation with the municipality (hereinafter referred to as the client) and BK-Teleconsult up to and including the execution planning. The construction services tendered herewith expand the existing municipal fiber optic infrastructure with a continuous and functional fiber optic network for all residential and commercial buildings to be connected in the designated expansion areas. The expansion shall commence after commissioning within the specified timeframe (see timetable - Chapter 4 of the partially functional service description). The client wishes for construction to begin shortly after the contract is awarded. The scope of the tender includes: - Creation of all necessary planning (e.g., approval and execution planning, including all necessary preliminary work) for the laying of microduct bundles based on the structural plan. - Laying of microduct bundles, including all necessary civil engineering work. - Creation of house branches from the microduct bundles and laying of individual ducts to the buildings, including building entry in the expansion area. Delivery and installation of POP cabinets, main distributors, and network distributor cabinets, as well as the introduction of cables and ducts. - House connection management, including obtaining property use agreements (GNV). - Delivery and installation of fiber optic termination points (APL) in the buildings. - Delivery and installation of all necessary optical components in the POP stations (e.g., splice patch modules). - Delivery and pulling of fiber optic cables. - Splicing work. - Creation and updating of a binding schedule, as well as coordination of the construction schedule. The construction schedule is part of the contract. - Regular progress meetings and coordination of construction execution with the municipality and BK-Teleconsult. - Acceptance, including functional tests, to be carried out jointly with the client. - Quality assurance and documentation of all work performed, including all required measurement protocols according to the requirements of the funding body and the network operator. Reference is made in full to the details in the appendix "Partially Functional Service Description" in the tender documents. The project is funded as follows: - Directive "Funding to Support the Gigabit Expansion of Telecommunications Networks in the Federal Republic of Germany of March 31, 2023 (Gigabit Directive 2.0) - Administrative regulation of the Ministry of the Interior on co-financing of funding from the directive to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany (VwV Breitbandmitfinanzierung) of July 27, 2023. The later contractor must comply with all specifications of the grant notices underlying the project, including ancillary provisions, notes, conditions, information sheets, and appendices, as well as the relevant funding programs.
