Heifer International - Request for Proposals Heifer International Nigeria, under the Naija Unlock Program, invites proposals from qualified agripreneur service providers, consulting firms, NGOs, cooperatives, companies and other eligible organizations to support implementation of a Tomato Value Chain Intervention in Nigeria. The assignment will focus on strengthening tomato farmer groups, delivering practical extension services on Good Agronomic Practices (GAP) and Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), improving access to finance and quality inputs, and establishing reliable market linkages, aggregation and guaranteed off-taking arrangements for smallholder farmers. Applicants must demonstrate at least five years of relevant agricultural development experience and, critically, proven capacity in both farmer extension/training and physical aggregation/off-taking of tomatoes or similar perishable produce.
