Project Background and ContextThe United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Ethiopia Country Office, operating under the macro-level Productive Use of Water Program, is implementing the Solar Borehole Water Supply Project within the Somali Region, Ethiopia.
This initiative deploys high-yielding, resilient infrastructure utilizing a sustainable mix of regional electricity main grids and solar-powered water pumping networks to ensure permanent community access to safe potable water.
Out of twenty (20) target regional boreholes, this project is being executed through a phased procurement approach.This current procurement lifecycle encompasses the end-to-end supply, delivery, and quality assurance of the core electromechanical, hydraulic, and solar equipment for Phase 1 (Urgent Requirements) as specified below data.
