SCOPE OF WORKRoad Utility Repair Scope of Work: Areas to be repaired as per attached Schedule A1.For a previously asphalted utility cut:Mill at least 50 mm deep by 300 mm wide circumference around the repair area.Remove and haul millings to stockpile site designated by the owner.Apply tack oil & fill depression & milled area with A1 asphalt flush to restore the road to a smooth driving surface, with no shoulder drop off.Areas to be repaired as per attached Schedule A2.For a new utility cut that is gravel filled:Mill at least 50 mm deep by 300 mm wide circumference around the cut area.Remove and haul millings to stockpile site designated by the owner.Excavate to 100 mm, compact base, supply tack oil & 100 mm A1 asphalt.If the base is not suitable, excavate 400 mm and fill to 300 mm with compacted ¾” down limestone, compact base, supply tack oil & 100 mm A1 asphalt.Excavated material can be used to regrade the shoulder.Excavated asphalt disposal area to be designated by the owner.The contractor is responsible for all materials, and all locates.Road Patching Scope of Work:Areas to be patched as per attached Schedule B.For a road patch that is depressed or elevated:Prepare site, apply tack oil and add A1 asphalt to a level that removes the depression in the roadway and restores the road to a smooth driving surface, with no shoulder drop off.The contractor is responsible for all materials, and all locates.Areas to be patched as per attached Schedule C.For a road patch that is on Schedule C. Mill & FillMill at least 50 mm deep.Remove and haul millings to stockpile site designated by the owner.Prepare site, apply tack oil and add A1 asphalt to a level that removes the depression in the roadway and restores the road to a smooth driving surface.The contractor is responsible for all materials, and all locates.
