The buildings at Ōtaki School are currently reliant on an original Type 1 bell system and interfaced security system as its fire protection infrastructure. A new and comprehensive Type 4 system will be installed with a new main indicator panel, compliant exterior sounder coverage, lock down facility and direct fire service connection.
