Description

A proposal is requested for a one-year period (2026) for the mowing of approximately 300 miles of municipal roadside & ditches.Instructions:Approximately 300 miles of Municipal roadside & ditches to be mowed. Contact Public Works Foreman for details.Contractor to carry out work in a quality and uniform way with minimal damages to municipal culverts and signageStart date to be determined by Council, as conditions will allow.Work to be completed by October 31st or a penalty of $500.00 per day will apply. However, extensions may be granted subject to prior Council approval.Each bidder must provide their Worker’s Compensation Board and G.S.T. registration numbers where indicated.Council may retain 25% hold back subject to completion and all pricing will remain the same within the specified Ward as awarded by tender.Lowest or any proposal not necessarily accepted.Any additional information may be attached to the proposal form.Inquiries can be made by calling the municipal office, at (204) 476-5414.Deadline for proposals is June 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
