Purpose of this Advance Proposed Procurement NoticeThis is an advance notice for the procurement of a Contractor to complete a culvert replacement on Highway 5 Access at Muenster, Saskatchewan. Please note that all quantities and project details are subject to change. This tender will have a shortened advertising period and will have an early completion date. The work is expected to take place as early as August 2026, with a specified completion date as early as October 31, 2026. The Ministry of Highways reserves the right to not proceed with advertising this work.Description of the Procurement:SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ONE 1 200 mm DIAMETER CORRUGATED STEEL PIPE CULVERT by open excavation of the Roadway on College Avenue, approximately 60.0 m south of its junction with Highway No. 5, at Muenster; for a TOTAL LENGTH OF 29.0 m.Any questions regarding the above can be sent to[email protected]ca with the subject line: “H26089- Advance Notice”.Tender documents will be added when available. Proposed Culverts 1 – 1200 mm x 29 m long Corrugated Steel Pipe 125 mm x 25 mm corrugations 2.0 mm wall thickness 8 m, 13 m, 8 m segment lengths Removal and Disposal of culverts – 41 m Random Riprap Type II – 25 m3 Supply and Install Silt Fence – 100 m Supply and Install Erosion Control Blanket – 900 m2 Seeding – 900 m2 Granular Backfill – 190 m3 The contractor will be responsible for supplying borrow material, granular backfill, geotextiles, riprap, traffic gravel, clay cap, clay seepage cutoff, culvert markers, silt fence, seeding and erosion control materials to replace the culvert.
