Rudolfovská street (Na Sadech - Nádražní) - 2nd stage

The subject of the public contract is the complete reconstruction of Rudolfovská street in the historic area adjacent to the monument reserve/city center of České Budějovice, in the section from Jeronýmova street to plot no. 106/1. This project includes close coordination with the work of other investors and contractors, e.g., during the reconstruction of gas pipelines located on both sides. The contractor will be obliged to coordinate the work with the action "Reconstruction of NTL gas pipeline ČB Rudolfovská tř. II. Stage (section no. 71, no. 1955/35 – Jeronýmova)", whose investor is Gas Distribution s.r.o., Křižíkova 1698/2, 370 01 České Budějovice. The construction must seamlessly connect to the first stage of the Rudolfovská street reconstruction, which ends at Jeronýmova street. This is a main communication route, and considering the scope of work, this contract covers the second stage, approximately 275 meters long. This is further divided into two construction seasons. The width of the street profile is determined by the multi-story historic buildings, which house a significant number of businesses; a notable access is, for example, the entrance to the Mitsubishi company's premises. The cover of some utility networks will be minimal, so the construction work must be adapted to this condition to avoid damaging these networks. It also includes traffic engineering measures to restrict traffic on the existing road and surrounding area during the construction of the road and utility networks. The traffic management plan (DIO) will be adjusted/supplemented before the construction begins according to the progress of the construction contractor's work and will be discussed with the Traffic Police of the Czech Republic. The DIO proposal is based on the assumption of two sub-stages. Adjustments to the DIO will also necessitate adjustments in the traffic light control at intersections on the detour route, which will be restored to their original state after the completion of the construction. Furthermore, the removal of the traction overhead line, including suspensions, and the reinstallation of 2 routes of TTV leading to the pole on Otakarova street will be addressed. A new sewer collector will be cast in place and is designed with a rectangular profile, specifically 800/800. The rectangular profile will ensure the possibility of connecting branches at the lowest possible level. A channel with a basalt trough embedded in special mortar will be cast at the bottom. The sewer collector structure will be reinforced concrete monolithic with a prefabricated ceiling. The trough will be divided into expansion sections. In each expansion section, there will also be controlled sealed expansion joints in the walls, into which sheet metal sealing with a bitumen coating for controlled cracking will be inserted. The construction of the sewer trough is expected to be carried out in parts. Earthworks for the water supply and sewage will be carried out as shored trenches. In the sewage line, shoring will be done using sheet piles with bracing frames. Water mains will be installed on both sides of the road made of ductile iron, profile DN150. A temporary water supply will be provided from a pressurized polyethylene pipe PE 100RC SDR17, laid in a shallow trench 0.5 m deep. After the installation of the water main pipes and dry pipes, pressure tests, disinfection, flushing, and water analyses will be carried out. Dry pipes will be installed in sub-stages. Public lighting distribution will be implemented gradually. Lighting points are located on cable suspensions and TTV poles. These will be replaced. Implementation will proceed gradually so that the existing public lighting is always operational. Traffic light system: a polyethylene micro-duct cable will be laid, running parallel to the public lighting cables.
