Ruhrbahn GmbH Citybahn Track, Civil and Road Construction Haus-Berge-Str. East Procurement of Construction Supervision and Others

As part of the joint project "Citybahn", Ruhrbahn GmbH is extending its tram network with an approximately five-kilometer-long above-ground tram line that will connect the new E51 district with the city center and further on to the Steele district. Project partners of the joint project "Citybahn" are Ruhrbahn GmbH, responsible for the planning and construction of the rail transport facilities, the City of Essen, responsible for the planning and construction of the individual transport facilities, and in some sections - as in the Haus-Berge-Straße area - Stadtwerke Essen, responsible for the planning and construction of a drinking water pipeline and the drainage of the traffic facilities. All three project partners use their own project management. The joint project "Citybahn" is divided into the sub-projects Essen 51, Berthold-Beitz-Boulevard, and Bahnhofstangente. The E 51 sub-project covers the Haus-Berge-Straße section between the entrance from Buschhauser Straße and the intersection with Bocholder Straße / Lange Straße. Track, civil, and road construction on the east side of Haus-Berge-Straße between the entrance from Buschhauser Straße and the entrance to Dinslaker Straße, and on the west side of Haus-Berge-Straße between the entrance to Dinslaker Straße and the intersection of Bocholder Straße / Lange Straße is expected to be completed in September 2026. From October 2026, track, civil, and road construction is scheduled to begin on the west side of Haus-Berge-Straße between the entrance from Buschhauser Straße and the entrance to Dinslaker Straße, and on the east side of Haus-Berge-Straße between the entrance to Dinslaker Straße and the intersection of Bocholder Straße / Lange Straße. The construction costs are estimated at approximately 13.2 million euros, excluding VAT. The subject of the present tender is the construction supervision, local construction monitoring, ecological construction support, expert for soil protection and contaminated sites, soil sampling and analysis, construction site communication, client coordination, change order management, and object supervision for the track, civil, and road construction work on the west side of Haus-Berge-Straße between the entrance from Buschhauser Straße and the entrance to Dinslaker Straße, and on the east side of Haus-Berge-Straße between the entrance to Dinslaker Straße and the intersection with Bocholder Straße / Lange Straße.
