Radiotherapy Dosimetry Devices The subject of the procurement is dosimetry devices for the radiotherapy unit at Nova Hospital for the Central Finland Healthcare District. These devices are used as measuring instruments in the quality control of radiotherapy linear accelerators. Nova Hospital's radiotherapy unit has three Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators. These accelerators treat a wide range of adult patients. The dose planning system is Varian Eclipse v18.0. The treatment range includes, among others, stereotactic treatments for the brain, lungs, and bones. The dosimetry equipment procurement consists of two measuring devices. The first item of procurement is a water phantom suitable for the quality control of radiotherapy linear accelerators. The water phantom must be suitable for measuring deep dose curves and radiation field profiles of photon and electron fields. Additionally, it must be suitable for determining absolute dose with a separate cylindrical and/or parallel plate chamber and/or other similar measuring device (e.g., diode or /diamond), using a separate electrometer if necessary. The water phantom must form a functional unit, including the devices and the necessary software and licenses for their use and analysis of results. The water phantom and its integrated electrometer must be compatible with Nova Hospital's current ionization chambers and diodes, or the tender must include replacement versions of such detectors. The water phantom can be offered with or without a water reservoir. The second item of procurement is a matrix measuring device with phantoms suitable for stereotactic (SRT/SBRT) patient measurements. The measurements of the matrix measuring device must be comparable to the patient-specific dose plan calculated in the dose planning system, in a format converted for the measuring device. The measured and calculated data must be visually and quantitatively evaluable, including gamma analysis. The matrix can be used for linear accelerator quality control measurements, e.g., for multileaf collimator quality control. The SRT/SBRT measuring device must form a functional unit, including the devices and the necessary software and licenses for their use and analysis of results. A ceiling price has been set for the procurement of the equipment package, which is €150,000 (VAT 0%), and must include both equipment sets to be procured. If the total price of the equipment submitted by the tenderer exceeds the aforementioned ceiling price, the tender may be rejected and the procurement may be terminated. The equipment packages offered must be new. The procurement must include the necessary installation and commissioning for both devices, as well as user training. Submitting multiple tenders is permitted. In addition to the basic configuration, options for the procured equipment can be included as needed by the contracting authority, as specified in the tender request. A comprehensive list of options applicable to the basic configuration should be provided as an attachment to the tender. The prices of items offered as options must be valid for the years 2026-2027. The estimated value of the procurement includes the acquisition of equipment and services for the basic configuration for the year 2026 (€150,000), as well as the value of potential options for the year 2027 (€50,000). However, the estimated value does not obligate the contracting authority to utilize all options or a specific minimum number of options. The decision to utilize the option planned for 2027 will be made separately, and the Client does not commit to implementing the option. The possible implementation of the option depends on available funding. The contracting authority will select one (1) supplier as the contracting partner, with whom a procurement contract will be concluded for the equipment and options. As part of the procurement, the currently used PTW MP3 water phantom, over 20 years old, can be handed over for a credit price, which the tenderer can state as part of the procurement. The credit price will not be considered in the comparison price.
