Renovation / Redesign of the Stadthalle I Planner Selection Procedure I Planning Services Architecture (incl. overall management) and Landscape Architecture, SIA Ph. 32-53

The task includes, in addition to comprehensive renovation and adaptation to current functional and technical requirements, the redesign of the facade and the outdoor area. The aim is to enhance the urban situation and find a contemporary architectural solution in the context of the renovation. With its large form, color, and structural appearance, the Stadthalle has a recognizable character from its time of origin. This starting point is to be understood as an architectural potential. The submissions should show how the existing building envelope can be further developed to create a contemporary expression that respects the hall's history while simultaneously creating a new public presence. The enhancement of the surroundings is to be considered an essential part of the task. The freed-up area of the fountain, along with the entrance to the Stadthalle's main entrance, is to be redesigned as an arrival and gathering space. By de-sealing, providing shade, and targeted greening, an inviting and pleasant environment is to be created. The area must also be usable for events. Additionally, a stopping area for tour buses and parking spaces for vehicles during events must be provided. This tender is for the evaluation and awarding of planning services for architecture (incl. overall management) and landscape architecture according to SIA 102:2014 and SIA 105:2020 with the task of overall management for planning and realization for the project "Renovation / Redesign of the Stadthalle Sursee". All partial service percentages for phases 32 to 53 are to be offered.
