Description
Til DTU Aquas nye havforskningsskib, Dana V, ønsker DTU at købe en videnskabelig multibeam-sonar. Transduceren skal placeres på siden af skibet dropkøl. Multibeam-sonaren skal levere moderne 3D målinger af fisk og zooplankton, i stimer, i vandsøjlen væk fra skibets sejlretning, tæt på overfladelaget og i andre ekkolodders blinde vinkler. Systemet skal anvendes til estimater af mængder i stimer og lag, primært i åbent vand. I isen skal multibeam-sonaren anvendes til at studere dyreadfærd og forekomster under isen, når skibet ligger stille.
