Description

Pursuant to Section 3-04(b)(2)(iii) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Department of Citywide Administrative Services intends to enter into a negotiated acquisition extension contract with Deer Park Recycling Inc for Salvage and Scrap Sale Services. The contract term is from January 28, 2024, through January 27, 2025, and the contract amount is $800,000.00.This notice is for information purposes only. Any firm that believes it could also provide these requirements will be considered in future procurements conducted by the Agency.Expressions of interest can be sent to juwoo@dcas.nyc.gov.

Pursuant to Section 3-04(b)(2)(iii) of the PPB rules, the use of the negotiated acquisition method may be justified when it is not practicable and/or advantageous to award a contract by competitive sealed bidding or competitive sealed proposals due to a time sensitive situation where a vendor must be retained quickly because a compelling need for goods, services, construction and/or construction-related services exists that cannot be timely met through competitive sealed bidding.
