In the event that, after the offer evaluation process is completed, two or more proponents have obtained the highest score, with more than one being in a position to be awarded, the following tie-breaking criteria will be used, in order of preference: Order of preference for tie-breaking criteria Highest score in the "Economic Offer" criterion. Highest score in the "Experience" criterion. Highest score in the "Technical Proposal" criterion. Highest score in the "Integrity Program" criterion. Highest score in the "Submission of Documents" criterion. Finally, if the tie persists, the proposal that was first submitted in the Information System, www.mercadopublico.cl, will be awarded, considering the date and time recorded therein. During the evaluation stage, the tendering entity may request bidders to: a) Correct formal errors or omissions. Errors in the offer price will not be considered formal errors. b) Submit certifications or documents that they omitted to submit at the time of making the offer, provided that such certifications or documents were produced or obtained prior to the deadline for submitting offers; and, c) Submit certifications or documents that refer to non-mutable situations between the deadline for submitting offers and the offer evaluation period. The timely and correct submission of documents will merit an additional score in the "Submission of Documents" criterion, as set out in the evaluation guide. The rectification of detected errors or omissions, requested to be corrected by bidders, may not confer a privileged position with respect to other competitors, as it would affect the principle of equality of bidders. The responsibility for timely checking the information system to verify possible requests from the commission during the evaluation period lies exclusively with the respective bidders. In the case of incomplete or unsigned certifications or documents (those that expressly require it), they will be considered as not submitted in due time and the provisions of this clause may be applied.
