Description

The object of the procurement is the acquisition of incubators for laboratory use at Tampere University. The equipment will be placed at the Noodi research facility, which is being completed on Tampere University’s Hervanta campus. Noodi is Tampere University’s new hub for experimental research, bringing together advanced research facilities, modern learning environments and multidisciplinary collaboration in the fields of technology, medicine and information technology. The procurement is divided into three lots: two shaking incubators, one refrigerated shaking incubator, and nine CO2 incubators. Partial tenders are allowed. The equipment must meet the technical and functional requirements set out in the Call for Tenders, including CE conformity, compatibility with the 230 V electrical system used in Finland, and temperature, shaking and/or CO2 level control features suitable for laboratory use. The procurement includes delivery of the equipment to Tampere University’s Hervanta campus, to the Noodi research facility, and, depending on the lot, installation, commissioning, user manuals, technical support, warranty, and the availability of maintenance and repair services. Noodi is intended to provide modern and adaptable facilities for experimental research and to support research activities carried out by several faculties of Tampere University, including the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology and the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. The indicative comparison price range for the procurement is EUR 150,000–180,000, excluding VAT. Two draft contracts are attached to the Call for Tenders: the MET draft contract and the ENS draft contract. The MET draft contract applies to Lot 1 and, in Lot 3, to eight units. The ENS draft contract applies to Lot 2 and, in Lot 3, to one unit. The draft contracts are substantially identical in terms of their contractual terms, but they differ with regard to the faculty representing the Customer, the invoicing details, and the Customer’s signatory. In the MET draft contract, the Customer is represented by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology, whereas in the ENS draft contract, the Customer is represented by the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. The General Terms of Public Procurement in Supply Contracts, JYSE 2025 Supplies, attached to the Call for Tenders, apply to both draft contracts as set out in the respective draft contracts., Lot 1: Shaking incubators, 2 units The object of Part 1 is the acquisition of two shaking incubators for laboratory use. The equipment must be CE compliant, compatible with the 230 V electrical system used in Finland, and suitable for use as independent benchtop models. The equipment must include, among other features, adjustable temperature control, orbital shaking motion, a timer function, an internal temperature display, a pull-out tray and an internal capacity of at least 50 litres. The procurement includes delivery to Tampere University’s Hervanta campus, user manuals, warranty, technical support, and the availability of maintenance and repair services. The indicative comparison price range for Part 1 is EUR 8,000–16,000, excluding VAT., Lot 2: Refrigerated shaking incubator, 1 unit The object of Part 2 is the acquisition of one refrigerated shaking incubator for laboratory use. The equipment must be CE compliant and compatible with the 230 V electrical system used in Finland. The incubator must include, among other features, orbital shaking, an adjustable operating temperature range, sufficient shaking speed and load capacity, stackability, a pull-out shaking platform, and platforms and attachments suitable for laboratory vessels of different sizes. The procurement includes delivery to Tampere University’s Hervanta campus, all parts required for operational readiness, possible installation, and warranty. The indicative comparison price range for Part 2 is EUR 26,000–30,000, excluding VAT., Lot 3: CO2 incubators, 9 units The object of Part 3 is the acquisition of nine CO2 incubators for laboratory use. The equipment must be CE compliant, compatible with the 230 V electrical system used in Finland, and stackable in stacks of two units of the same model.
