Občina Rače–Fram je 4. februarja 2022 v Gradu Rače pridobila novo vsebino – Knjižnico Rače, ki je hitro postala priljubljeno zbirališče vseh generacij. Zaradi bogate ponudbe gradiva in raznovrstnih vsebin se obisk in izposoja iz leta v leto povečuje. Rastoče število uporabnikov, potrebe po dodatnem gradivu in novih policah so pokazale, da obstoječi prostori postajajo pretesni. Zato je pričela s pripravljanjem projekta Širitev Knjižnice Rače, ki predvideva razširitev obstoječih prostorov v pritličju severovzhodnega dela gradu in v kraku, kjer so bili prostori odprti leta 2022. Načrtovana površina širitve znaša približno 85 m² bruto tlorisne površine, kar bo omogočilo boljšo razporeditev gradiva in kakovostnejše pogoje za uporabnike.
