HUS Group (hereinafter the contracting entity) has established a dynamic purchasing system (DPS) for the procurement of various solutions and chemicals (HUS 810-2023 / Solutions and Chemicals). With this request for proposals, the contracting entity requests proposals for acids and bases (hereinafter also "goods" or "products"). The subject of the procurement and its requirements are described in detail in the request for proposals and its appendices. Acids and bases are procured for the contracting entity's own production for patient diagnostics, product development, and quality assurance, or for other in-house manufacturing of medicines or medical devices. In HUS, the product is mainly used by the HUS Diagnostic Center and HUS Pharmacy, but products can also be ordered in smaller quantities by other HUS units. HUS makes its own agreements with selected suppliers. Products are also procured for the use of ISLAB wellbeing services. ISLAB makes its own agreements with selected suppliers. The procurement is divided into 74 lots. The tenderer may submit a proposal for one or more lots. The tenderer may be selected for one or more lots. See more in the "Criteria for the Subject of Procurement" section of the request for proposals. Sub-bids within a lot are not permitted. Parallel bids within a lot are not permitted. Alternative bids are not permitted. The contracting entity will select a maximum of two (2) suppliers for each lot with whom it will conclude an agreement. The agreement is initially fixed-term for two (2) years, after which the agreement is valid until further notice. The contracting entity reserves the right to conduct trial use of the product offered by the winning tenderers based on the preliminary tender comparison before signing the procurement decision. Trial use is described in more detail in the "Criteria for the Subject of Procurement" section of the request for proposals. The procurement volumes presented in the request for proposals are consumption estimates for four (4) years. The agreement does not constitute a minimum or fixed purchase obligation for the contracting entity, nor an exclusive right for the supplier to deliver the products subject to the procurement.
