SMD-Requirement Contract for Installation of V/C Floor Tile in Apartments- Carey Consolidated Houses, Marlboro Houses, ODwyer/Gravesend/CI-Site 8 Houses, Surfside/Coney Island/CI Site 4&5, Glenwood Houses, Sheepshead/Nostrand, Breukelen Houses, Cypress Hills/ East NYC Line, Pink Houses and Vandalia Houses, Located in Brooklyn Neighborhood (BK01), (BK02) and (BK03), Brooklyn. No Bid Security Required. NYCHA intends to separately solicit and award a series of Ten (10) requirement contracts for Installation of V C/C Floor Tile in Apartments-Development Specific pursuant to RFQ#s: 522125- Carey Consolidated Houses, 522126- Marlboro Houses, 522127-ODwyer/Gravesend/CI-Site 8 Houses, 522128- Surfside/Coney Island/CI Site 4&5, 522129- Glenwood Houses, 522130- Sheepshead/Nostrand, 522131- Breukelen Houses, 522132- Cypress Hills/ East NYC Line, 522133- Pink Houses and 522135-Vandalia Houses (or this Bid Series). Contract Term: The Term of this contract shall be for a period of three (3) years from the award date established on NYCHAs Blanket Purchase Order or the issuance of the Notice to Proceed Order. NYCHA, in its sole discretion, shall have the option to extend the Term of this contract with up to two (2) one-year renewal periods. Limiting Award Provision: NYCHA has determined that it is in the best interest of NYCHA to award only one (1) of the Requirement contracts in this Bid Series to the lowest responsive, responsible individual Contractor, subject to the award limiting language (Step 1). Subject to NYCHAs responsive and responsibility determinations of the Bidder and the award limiting language set forth herein, to the extent there are other Requirement contracts in this Bid Series that are not yet awarded after Step 1, NYCHA, in its sole and absolute discretion, may award up to One (1) additional contract(s) to a Contractor or Contractors that has, pursuant to Step 1, been awarded the maximum number of contracts in this Bid Series (Step 2).
