The ACCESS Business Applications and Space Solutions (BASS) programme supports the development and commercialisation of innovative services that leverage space assets and technologies to address real-world business challenges.Through this Contest, ESA seeks to accelerate the adoption of space-enabled solutions by connecting companies with leading industry partners [SC1] (i.e. the Challenge-Owners) that have identified specific operational needs and innovation opportunities.The Contest provides a direct pathway for companies to develop and validate Proof of Concept solutions with prospective end users, reducing both technical and commercial risk. By combining ESA funding with access to high-visibility industry challenge owners, the initiative aims to foster the development of commercially viable services, stimulate innovation across key industrial sectors, and create opportunities for long-term customer adoption and business growth.
