SPS-02302 High Voltage - Control, Operation and Maintenance Services
Description
This Contract shall provide SPS with a Control, Operation and Maintenance of High Voltage Equipment (COMA) agreement to provide expert management of the Purchaser’s high-voltage (HV) electric transformers and associated electrical switchgear and specific and ad-hoc support for low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
The Equipment is utilised to provide a suitable living and working environment within SPS properties by providing the required electricity at the correct voltage as required. The Equipment requires to be fully tested, operational and always operate at maximum efficiency and in accordance with any relevant rules and regulations.
The Supplier shall support this requirement with management by the Supplier’s appointed Senior Authorised Person (SAP). The Services shall include safe and suitable planned maintenance, 24/7 reactive support, integrity inspections, test and certification services to fully meet or exceed the requirements of statutory regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, British and EU Standards, and the operational requirements of the Establishment as well as the Supplier’s own procedures.
At present of the 18 SPS Establishments, 10 Establishments have 11kV High Voltage supplies.
