The client intends to award services for infrastructure expansion.

SSW-Stadtwerke St. Wendel Gmbh & Co. KG (hereinafter referred to as the client) intends to have the following work carried out as part of the synergistic network expansion: • Infrastructure expansion in the district town of St. Wendel in 2026 to 2029. The tender for a framework agreement according to VOB/A § 4a EU includes all civil engineering and cable laying work for the installation of power cables and FTTB conduits in the backbone and main routes as well as house connections. The construction services include, among others, road, earth, and civil engineering services, particularly the laying of power cables, micro-ducts or micro-duct bundles, the construction of manholes, and documentation work. The coordination of house connections with the building owner will be carried out by the contractor (hereinafter referred to as the contractor). Before starting any measure, the contractor must obtain the necessary traffic management orders (VRA) from the responsible traffic authority. The contractor may carry out the work using open or trenchless construction methods. Approval from the road construction authority is required. Possible necessary changes to the execution method during the project must be carried out by the contractor independently. The corresponding costs shall be borne by the contractor. The client may specify the execution method in individual cases and this does not constitute any additional remuneration. The standard trench profile for open-cut laying is to be constructed as follows: width x depth = 0.3 x 0.65 m (clear dimensions from top of surface / cover = 0.55 m). For wider and deeper trenches, separate billing methods are specified in the bill of quantities. The specified minimum laying distances according to the network guidelines, as well as the requirements of road construction authorities and public authorities for all chosen laying methods, must be strictly adhered to. The fiber optic installation services include the necessary splicing work, including splicing planning, the construction of fiber optic joints, the delivery and installation of the required fiber optic distribution points (Gf-VP) including their technical equipment, and the operational readiness of all marketed house connections up to the fiber optic termination point (Gf-AP) in the building, including house connection management. The quantities listed in the bill of quantities apply to the first contract year. In the event of the client exercising the extension option in accordance with the contractual provisions, it is assumed that comparable quantities will arise in the second and third years.
