Het ontwerpatelier van de gemeente Westerkwartier zoekt versterking in de vorm van een breed inzetbare ruimtelijk ontwerper met affiniteit voor landschap, stedenbouw en binnenstedelijk groen. De kandidaat ondersteunt de vier adviseurs (landschapshistorie, stedenbouw en binnenstedelijk groen) in hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden en voert daarnaast een zelfstandig vooronderzoek uit naar de ruimtelijke kwaliteiten in dorpen. De werkzaamheden zullen onder andere bestaan uit: Het uitvoeren van ruimtelijke analyses op het gebied van landschap, stedenbouw en binnenstedelijke groenvoorzieningen; Het maken van visualisaties, schetsen en kaarten (bijv. In Illustrator, InDesign of vergelijkbare programma's) Het opstellen van korte rapportages en samenvattingen per (selectie van) dorpen voor de vooranalyses; Het signaleren van kansen en knelpunten in de ruimtelijke kwaliteit (van o.a. dorpsuitbreidingen) Het formuleren van ontwerpuitgangspunten en aanbevelingen voor vervolgtrajecten Het adviseren van beleidsmedewerkers, vergunningverleners en ruimtelijk ordenaars over ruimtelijke inpassing, landschappelijke kwaliteit en groenstructuren.
