Construction maintenance and minor repairs of bridges and culverts

The subject of the public contracts awarded within the established dynamic purchasing system will be construction maintenance and minor repairs of bridges and culverts, specifically the following work categories: 1. Bearing maintenance: cleaning of bearing seats from mechanical impurities and dust, cleaning of corroded steel parts of bearings within reach at the given bearing position, anti-corrosion coating of cleaned parts, cleaning and preservation of sliding surfaces, cleaning and preservation of elastomeric bearings, topping up bearing bedding, repair of bearing blocks and non-key (NK) projections. 2. Under-bridge remediation and drainage repairs: NK under-bridge remediation of concrete surfaces of the substructure, remediation of the upper surface of foundations at ground level, remediation of the soffit and sides of the superstructure, remediation of vertical parts of cornices, repair of expansion joints, repair of drainage outlets from drains through the concrete surface of the bridge substructure, sealing of diagnostic holes, removal of graffiti and coatings, repair of the steel drainage channel of the superstructure, anti-corrosion protection of steel parts on the concrete surface of the substructure and superstructure soffit – superstructure channel brackets, utility pipe brackets, PKO plates, rails in the superstructure soffit, etc., repair of longitudinal and vertical drainage pipes including compensators, repair or installation of drainage pipes from hollows in the superstructures, repair of drainage pipe outlets and drains in the superstructure soffit, repair of cable conduits. 3. Repairs in the cornice area: remediation of the upper surface of concrete cornices, cleaning of drainage channels and remediation of the internal surface of concrete drainage channels of the superstructure, repair of bridge restraint system elements, repair of public lighting poles on the bridge, repair of noise barriers on the bridge, repair of drains and drainage pipes, waterproofing of the bridge deck, repair of the drainage strip along the cornices. 4. Repairs of expansion joints and roadway: repair and maintenance of bridge expansion joints, repair and maintenance of the roadway (repair of cracks, local repair of waterproofing, local repair of the wearing course), renewal of horizontal road markings. 5. Miscellaneous repairs: vegetation management (removal of bushes, felling of trees, local replenishment of backfills and embankments, replenishment of topsoil and seeding), management and repair of watercourses (cleaning, repair or installation of reinforcement, repair or installation of thresholds), management and repair of pavements and reinforcements (cleaning, repair or installation of reinforcement, installation of curbs and bases) – protection around supports, slope protection, protection along abutments and backfill behind cornices at the ends of abutments, paving behind the cornice of an embankment structure, collars around the faces of embankment structures. Management and repair of inspection stairs, sumps, and discharge points (cleaning, surface remediation of stairs, sumps, discharge points, replacement of stair treads, installation of new stairs, repair or installation of sumps and discharge points). Management and repair of drainage chutes and ditches (cleaning, repair or installation of chutes and reinforcement of ditch bottoms, repair or installation of outlet structures for subsurface drainage on slopes, cleaning of drainage). Management and repair of road – traffic safety barriers (renewal of PKO, repair or installation of barriers). For the performance of the above-mentioned activities, the provision of appropriate traffic engineering measures will be necessary (e.g., reduction in the number of lanes, narrowing of lanes, restriction of 1 lane on a directionally undivided road).
