Description
WSA requires the spillway slabs and stilling basins at both dams to be isolated, dewatered, cleaned, and maintained in an inspection-ready condition to facilitate structural inspections scheduled for 2026. The respondent shall provide all labour, equipment, materials, supervision, temporary works, permits, specialist support, environmental protection measures, incidentals, and any other resources necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract, permit conditions, environmental screening requirements, and all applicable laws and regulations.
WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
