Strategic Framework Consultancy for the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (2027-2031)

The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) along with financing received from the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (UK FCDO), toward the cost of the project titled “Small Island Developing States Capacity and Resilience (SIDAR) Programme (Caribbean)” intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the contracting of a firm/company for the “Strategic Framework Consultancy for the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (2027-2031)”. This consultancy is expected to develop a results-based, costed Strategic and Implementation Plan covering the period 2027- 2031. The new financing-aligned SIP is expected to position the CCCCC to effectively deliver on its regional mandate, strengthening institutional performance, enhancing financial stability and responding to the evolving climate, development and geopolitical landscape. The new SIP will address options for the value proposition, and agility of the CCCCC to respond to its partners and clients. Additionally, this next iteration of the Strategic Plan is also expected to, inter alia, enable the CCCCC to: i) review and revise, as needed, its strategic direction and priorities of programming; ii) update, if needed, the Organization’s vision, mission and core values, iii) establish a Performance Measurement Framework (PMF) to support results-based Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) that promotes accountability, improves planning and implementation and that is fully integrated and aligned with the CCCCC’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, iv) improve coordination and communication to internal and external stakeholders, the public, governments and partners and, v) strengthen and explicitly establish the alignment of CCCCC’s Strategic Objectives, Outcomes, to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, particularly SDG 13 – Climate Action and other relevant SDGs.
