STRATEGIC AREA VALALIKY PHASE 1 - External Infrastructure – Stormwater Drainage

This tender concerns the execution of construction works for the "Strategic Park Valaliky – Phase 1 - External Infrastructure – Stormwater Drainage" project. The primary objective is to manage and discharge stormwater from the Strategic Park area in Valaliky. The proposed stormwater drainage system will collect rainwater from various parts of the park through regulated outlets into several collector pipes (1, 2, 3, 4). Main collector no. 1 is designed to discharge into the Hornád River. The project includes necessary retention measures within the park to hold back rainwater, promoting gradual infiltration into the subsoil where geological conditions permit, aiming to maximize water retention within the area. Safety overflows will be designed for each section, calculated for a critical 15-minute rainfall event with a 50-year return period (0.02 probability). These overflows will regulate flow, either through discharge regulators or pumping stations. Main collector no. 1 is specifically designed with a capacity to handle a maximum flow rate of 3.5 m³/s to the Hornád River. The project documentation includes a schematic map detailing maximum flow capacities for each collector.
