Description
The County is seeking quotations from qualified suppliers to provide design-build services for work to be completed at Festival Place, located at 100 Festival Way, Sherwood Park, Alberta, work entails the design and construction of an orchestra pit railing barrier and safety net system upgrade. The scope includes removal of the existing pit railing; design, supply, and installation of a new structural movable railing system incorporating a high‑tenacity safety net; integration of removable decorative panels; provision of a new carpet pit cover; and completion of all associated structural modifications and permitting requirements.
The selected respondent will enter into a Design-Build Stipulated Price Contract under CCDC 14 (2013), as amended by Supplementary Conditions (refer to Attachment 1). Respondents must demonstrate capacity to deliver all mandatory Category 1 Deliverables and provide pricing for Category 2 Optional Deliverables within defined construction windows of August 24 to September 9, 2026, and January 1 to January 17, 2027. Substantial completion and readiness for occupancy must be achieved no later than February 28, 2027
