Eligible countries are members of the United Nations and its specialised agencies. In the assessment of submissions, consideration will be given to the consultant's qualifications in plant sciences, botany, agronomy, conservation biology or related disciplines, demonstrated experience in germplasm management, plant propagation, botanical collections or conservation nurseries, and experience in biodiversity conservation and Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS). Experience working with Caribbean or tropical flora will be considered an asset.
