The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for the provision of structured cabling, installation, and maintenance services to be delivered at FAO Headquarters locations in Rome, Italy.
FAO's Information Technology Division intends to replace and modernize the existing structured cabling infrastructure.
Accordingly, this RFI seeks information on solutions and services supporting structured ICT cabling, including campus backbone fiber, horizontal copper cabling for voice, data, audio, and video, as well as dedicated coaxial cabling for physical security systems.
Through this RFI, FAO seeks to obtain a better understanding of market capabilities, delivery models, innovation trends, and vendors' relevant experience in campus-scale/multi-building structured cabling environments.
FAO welcomes submissions from qualified companies interested in providing the above-mentioned solutions and services.
Companies interested in participating are requested to ensure that they hold, at a minimum, a Basic Registration status with FAO in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at www.ungm.org.

Interested companies are requested to follow these instructions when submitting their bids.
Submissions will be accepted only if submitted through the UNGM portal.
