Supply, installation, commissioning and training on a 9.39 T (400MHz) NMR spectrometer with accessories for online reaction monitoring (flow NMR) for the Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona

The object of this contract consists of the supply and installation of a 9.39 T (400 MHz) NMR spectrometer with the necessary accessories for online reaction monitoring (flow NMR), located at the Resonance and Magnetism Unit, Magnetic Measurements Laboratory of the Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona, which must comply with the requirements set out in clause 3 of the technical specifications (hereinafter PPT). The object includes the following elements: - Magnet. - Console. - Probe. - Robot for automatic sample handling, and - Accessories for online reaction monitoring (flow NMR). - Equipment control computer. - Software and software licenses. The object of the contract also includes the transport, installation and commissioning of each of the elements of the instrumental set object of the contract necessary to ensure its correct operation, as well as the user, technical and maintenance manuals. Once the equipment is installed and verified, there will be a training period on the correct and optimal use of the functionality directed at the staff of the Resonance and Magnetism Unit with special emphasis on the online reaction monitoring module. The warranty for the supplied equipment is 1 year. Within the object of the contract, there is an after-sales service during the entire warranty period. This supply is essential to achieve the objectives of the following projects: - NMR system for online reaction monitoring, reference EQC2024-008712-P, funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by FEDER A way to make Europe. IP Juan Fran Sangüesa (grants for the acquisition of scientific-technical equipment, corresponding to the State Subprogram for Infrastructure and Scientific-Technical Equipment of the State Program to Promote Scientific-Technical Research and its Transfer within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2027). The aforementioned contract is considered a supply and services contract as its object is covered by Article 18 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on public sector contracts, which transposes EU Parliament and Council Directives 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU of February 26, 2014 (*LCSP) into Spanish law. Lots: After analyzing the convenience of dividing the present contract into lots in accordance with Article 99.3 of the LCSP, it is concluded that division is not considered appropriate as the object of the contract constitutes a single functional unit that does not allow for fragmentation, given that the independent approach of the different services included in the object of the contract would hinder correct execution from a technical and coordination perspective, as the services object of the contract are intimately linked to each other, with all the services comprising the object of the contract forming an integral whole, given that the company carrying out the supply and installation will have the necessary knowledge and elements to provide the supply optimally, thus proposing it as a single global unit for a single contractor. Therefore, the nature of the contract itself prevents division into lots without this constituting a limitation of competition.
