- The Ministry of Education and Training in Eswatini has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Basic Education System Support to Human Capital Development in Eswatini Project(P173151) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for Supply and Delivery of IT Tablets-Gadgets for Math and Science Phase 2 Schools [2].
2. The Ministry of Education and Training in Eswatini now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of IT Tablets-Gadgets for Maths and Science Phase 2 Schools listed below;

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Education and Training, Procurement Unit. Contact person: Lomakhosi Magagula, email address: procurement@moet-wbproject.org.sz[3] and request for the bidding document during office hours 09:00am to 04:30pm on the email address provided. [4]
5. The[5] bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the Email Address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee[6] of Two Thousand-Five Hundred (E2500) or Equivalent to USD ($). The method of payment will be:

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below[9] on or before 09:00am on the 11 September 2026. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 09:10am on the 11 September 2026.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of E700,000.00 (Seven Hundred Thousand Emalangeni Only) or Equivalent to USD ($) for International Firms (based on the applicable exchange rate on the deadline for bid submission date) in the form of an ORIGINAL Bank Guarantee issued by a reputable Banking Institution.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
