The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), headquartered in Santiago, Chile, is the agency designated to lead this procurement process. ECLAC is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations, established in 1948, and one of its main objectives is the promotion of social development in the region. Its offices are located in the commune of Vitacura, Santiago, Chile. B. ECLAC, United Nations, invites companies established in Chile to submit their Expression of Interest to participate in a competitive process aimed at the Supply and Installation of fourteen (14) custom-built electrical panels, based on an electrical engineering design that has already been defined. ECLAC seeks to engage companies with proven experience in the supply, assembly, and installation of electrical panels, capable of certifying that the layout and installation of components comply with the detailed engineering specifications and with the electrical regulations in force in Chile. Companies must hold SEC Certification as Class A Installers. This certification must be valid and will be used as formal evidence of technical and regulatory compliance in the assembly of the panels. This project represents a valuable opportunity to collaborate with the United Nations system on a high-impact initiative, ensuring from the outset the quality and regulatory compliance of the equipment that will form part of a future technical installation. ECLAC values working with local suppliers who share its commitment to excellence, safety, and the highest technical standards. C. Companies will be allowed to express their intention to participate jointly, whether as a Consortium, Alliance, or Temporary Union of Companies (UTE). ECLAC must be informed of such intention once the companies are invited to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage. ECLAC reserves the right to accept or reject such requests for joint participation. D. The contractor must have a local representative in Chile and be able to respond to on-site service requests with qualified technicians. Specific Requirements/Information A. La Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), con sede en Santiago, Chile, es la agencia designada para liderar este proceso de adquisición. La CEPAL es una de las cinco comisiones regionales de las Naciones Unidas, establecida en 1948, y uno de sus principales objetivos es la promoción del desarrollo social en la región. Sus oficinas están ubicadas en la comuna de Vitacura, Santiago, Chile. B. La CEPAL, Naciones Unidas, invita a empresas establecidas en Chile a presentar su Expresión de Interés para participar en un proceso competitivo orientado al Suministro e Instalación de catorce (14) tableros eléctricos fabricados a medida, basados en una ingeniería eléctrica ya definida. Se busca contactar con empresas con experiencia comprobada en el Suministro, armado y montaje de tableros eléctricos, capaces de certificar que la distribución y el montaje de los componentes cumplen con lo establecido en la ingeniería de detalle y con la normativa eléctrica vigente en Chile. Las empresas deben contar con Certificación SEC de Instaladores Clase A. Esta certificación deberá estar vigente y será utilizada como respaldo formal del cumplimiento técnico y normativo del armado de los tableros. Este proyecto representa una valiosa oportunidad para colaborar con el sistema de las Naciones Unidas en una iniciativa de alto impacto, asegurando desde el inicio la calidad y el cumplimiento normativo de los equipos que formarán parte de una futura instalación técnica. La CEPAL valora trabajar con proveedores locales que compartan su compromiso con la excelencia, la seguridad y los más altos estándares técnicos. C. Se permitirá que las empresas expresen su intención de participar en conjunto, ya sea como Consorcio, Alianza o Unión Temporal de Empresas (UTE). La CEPAL deberá ser informada de dicha intención una vez que las empresas sean invitadas a participar en la etapa de Solicitud de Propuesta (RFP). La CEPAL se reserva el derecho de aceptar o rechazar dicha solicitud de participación conjunta. D.
