Transwa is the regional business unit of the Public Transport Authority responsible for delivering public transport services across regional Western Australia. Its network extends to Kalbarri and Meekatharra in the north, Kalgoorlie in the east, Esperance in the southeast, and services major regional centres throughout the southwest. The road coach network connects approximately 240 regional communities with Perth and intermediate locations, operating around 130 scheduled services per week and carrying approximately 205,000 passengers annually. Transwa operates a fleet of 25 Volvo B11R/Irizar i6 road coaches, comprising 23 vehicles delivered in 2016 and two delivered in 2022. Each vehicle travels approximately 150,000 kilometres per year. This procurement seeks to engage a contractor to supply and install windscreens and side windows for the road coach fleet under an initial three-year contract, with an option to extend for a further one year.
