21-Jul-2026 The Uganda Railways Corporation has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of The East Africa Community Railway Rehabilitation Support Project; Kampala-Malaba Meter Gauge Railway Line and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract of Supply, delivery & commissioning of Twenty-Four (24) Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Tanks with Portable Loading/Off-Loading Equipment and Training of Maintenance & Operations Personnel. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract requires to be made through letter of credit. https://www.afdb.org/sites/default/files/documents/project-related-procurement/spn_for_lpg_tanks.pdf
