WFP employs around 17,000 staff, most of whom work in challenging environments directly serving the world's most vulnerable populations.Since the onset of the Ukraine emergency response in March 2022, WFP has made significant efforts to support local markets and national food systems while addressing food insecurity. Our approach prioritizes local sourcing whenever feasible. In 2025,99 percent of the food distributed by WFP in Ukraine was procured locally,contributing directly to the strengthening of the Ukrainian economy.The WFP Ukraine Country Office intends toestablishits roster of qualified local suppliers for the Canned green peas. Eligible Ukrainian suppliers are invited to submit an expression of Interest and undergo the supplier qualification process.The estimated annual procurement volumeis1440 MTTechnical Requirements:The technical and quality requirements applicable to WFP Ukraine are detailed in the technical specifications attached to this EOI.Purpose of This EOIThe purpose of this Expression of Interest is to identify suppliers that demonstrate adequate technical, quality, and financial capacity for production and supply Canned green peas. Suppliers that successfully pass the qualification process may be invited to participate in subsequent competitive bidding processes issued by WFP Ukraine.This EOI does not constitute a tender or a commitment to purchase.
