Waste collection and disposal

The subject of the public contract is the comprehensive provision of waste collection services, including those specific to a healthcare facility, from the Brno Centre for Cardiovascular and Transplant Surgery and its subsequent disposal at a facility authorized to dispose of waste, including hazardous waste, for the specified catalog numbers in the tender documentation. The performance consists mainly in the supply and rental of collection containers, transport, sorting, utilization, including the collection of electrical waste and equipment, and the disposal of waste produced by the contracting authority, including the provision of related services under the conditions specified in the tender documentation, in compliance with the prescribed technological procedures and hygiene standards, especially within the meaning of Act No. 541/2020 Coll. on waste, as amended. The subject of performance also includes the rental of collection containers, the specifications of which are provided in the annex to the tender documentation, Requirements for collection containers, which will correspond to the types and expected quantities of waste and the requirements of applicable generally binding legal regulations, technical and hygiene standards. The types and expected quantities of waste that the contracting authority will produce during the term of the contract are listed in the annex to the tender documentation, Price offer, with the contracting authority pointing out that the quantities indicated in tons for individual waste catalog numbers are only indicative, some types of waste may be produced minimally or not at all. The contracting authority also points out that some types of waste may be produced in quantities greater than those indicated in the annex to the tender documentation, Price offer. In such a case, the supplier is obliged to ensure their collection and disposal according to the conditions specified in the contract and its annexes. The waste collection schedule from the place of performance is provided in the annex to the tender documentation, Waste collection schedule. The contracting authority points out that the schedule reflects current and expected operating conditions, the frequency of collection may be adjusted according to the conditions specified in the contract and its annexes, including the contracting authority's option to request the collection of any type of waste outside the established schedule, in which case the supplier is obliged to ensure collection within 48 hours of receiving the request from the contracting authority.
